A Refreshing Approach
We consider our clients our friends. We have learned that the most successful projects come from forging a true relationship with the client. We're friendly, geeky, creative, sarcastic, and we like to play just as hard as we work. We understand that we're being paid for our expert knowledge of the services we provide and feel that it's important to educate the client on why we do what we do when we're doing it. We're like that cool high school teacher you had; you know the one that made learning fun. We take a collaborative approach to just about everything and strongly encourage clients to be as vocal as possible throughout the entire process.
How We Work
We take full advantage of virtual office tools. It's no secret that the virtual office can be just as, if not more, productive than traditional brick and mortar offices. While Britepilot is based out of Atlanta, our team and partners are spread out across the country, just like our clients. The beauty of our industry is that we can do our work from just about anywhere with an electrical outlet and internet access. We don't believe in restricting ourselves to only serving a particular geographic area. Virtual tools like Skype, web conferencing, and Google Apps mean that no matter where we are in the world, our office is always with us. Located in Atlanta and feel like sitting around a good ol' fashioned conference table with us to discuss your project? No problem, we can still accommodate that as well.
Our Project Load
We know we're not the best fit for every project out there. Unlike many creative companies, we carefully limit our work load to ensure that we're never overextended. We rarely schedule more than three projects at any given time. Our "virtual" setup drastically cuts our operating expenses which allows us to carry a lighter workload which in turn allows to spend more time on the projects we do take ensuring that our clients expectations are exceeded and finally delivery is on-time. We also know that we're not the best fit for every project. In cases where we chose to turn down a client, we're always happy to help them find the right provider for their needs. If we don't feel we're the best fit, chances are we know someone who might be.
Internal "Pilot Projects"
At Britepilot, we beleive it's important to take time for ourselves. That's why we created our Pilot Project Program. Every month, depending on our workload, we commit between ten and twenty percent of our total workable hours to internal projects. Some of the most innovative ideas around the web came from small teams like ourselves throwing around ideas in their downtime. Furthermore, internal projects provide us a chance to play with the latest technologies available which can often be implemented into client projects later.
